Description: A 136-page bilingual training manual on public values and integrity, designed in English and French.

About
The Training Manual on Public Values, Integrity, and Responsible Stewardship of Cameroon’s Resources and Human Capital was written by Dr. Stephen Nkem Asek and published in March 2025. It supports public integrity lectures and dialogue sessions across Cameroon. It is for public servants in local councils, emerging professionals, students, youth leaders and community leaders.

What we did
We designed and laid out both editions of the manual, 136 pages each. This covered the covers, contents pages, six module openers, illustrated concept pages, tables, matrices and checklists, a full exercise workbook and the about-the-author page.

Our approach
We designed for learners. A training manual is used in class and studied at home, so every page needed to be clear and easy to follow. We used clear headings, short sections and plenty of white space to guide the reader.

We gave each module its own opener, with an illustration and a bold title, so readers can easily see where one topic ends and the next begins.

We made the big ideas visual. Illustrations and diagrams, like the CHIEF system and the Public Value Management Model, sit right next to the text that explains them.

We laid out tools people can use. The matrices, checklists and assessment tables are clean and well-spaced, so trainers can use them in sessions and learners can fill them in.

We matched both languages page for page. The English and French editions share the same structure and layout. This takes care, because French text is often longer than English.

The result is a calm, professional book in a green, cream and orange palette that feels serious but welcoming.
